Today I had to say goodbye to all my friends and family in small little Pilot and say hello to the queen city.
I was very upset. It was extremely hard to say goodbye to everyone. I pretty much cried the entire drive down to Charlotte. I had to leave my bed, cat, dog, parents, brother, and friends earlier than expected because I have a job and had to come down for training.
Anyways by the time I arrived to Charlotte and to the apartment that I would be staying at for the next couple of days, I was depressed. I'm so thankful that my friend/person who hired me for my job took me out to downtown Charlotte. We went to this amazing little Christian gathering called Charlotte1One. It was so inspirational and I felt like I had a closer connection to God. The speaker had a wonderful sermon about our calling in the world. He quoted some amazing scripture which helped me to better understand his wonderful grace.
I just want to thank Carrie for helping me tonight, introducing me to some very inspirational people, and taking me to Charlotte1One. It was simply amazing.

simple explanations.
Yes, I have been MIA.
Yes, I have been super busy.
Yes, this is my last week of summer before I move to the Queen City.
Yes, I have explanations.
First off I have been getting everything ready for my big move on the 19th. From getting storage supplies, to planning how exactly I am transferring everything to Charlotte, my time has been spent with dorm supplies, and asking my brother to help me move :). I also have a job while down there, which I am rather excited about! The new job has caused me to leave Pilot to go down on the 16th for training, but I can't officially move in until the 19th. Either way I am excited and nervous about living on my own!
Secondly, I played my last official softball tournament with a group of amazing girls. They have formed a tight knit family and I couldn't ask for a more awesome team to end my softball career with. I will never forget the memories made with these lovely ladies and of course I will never forget the ladies! They made me laugh beyond tears, with picking on Hayley, but either way they are hilarious. Thank you Carolina Stars for being apart of the end of my softball career. I thank God that he has introduced you guys into my life, and I promise I will never forget all the insiders and memories that were made on and off the field. I love each and every one of you ladies and I will miss you beyond words next year.
