simple goals.

January is coming to an end so I thought that I should reflect on the goals for January and make my goals for February.

My goals for January were as follows:
1. Finish my "Heaven is For Real" book. (check)
2. Blog at least 1-2 times a week. (ehhh..not so much check)
3. Go to the library for at least 3 hours and study with no distractions. (no check)

I want to make so many reasons as to why I did not meet my goals for January but I believe that the more excuses that you make, the more that you will not get done. So I am just going to say that I will strive this month to make sure that I reach my goals.

For February:
1. Just go to the library at least once every day.
2. Find my apartment for next year.
3. Start running in the mornings, besides Tuesdays (8 AM Chem lab).
4. Celebrate my birthday.
5. Blog one time a week.

Here they are. I pray that God can help me achieve these goals. :)
Have a wonderful February!

simple late nights

college. homework. study. eat. work. walk. workout. social life. family life. spiritual life. tests. quizzes. due dates.
notice the one word missing?
SLEEP.
This semester I have realized that I will not have a regular sleep schedule.
I will constantly have to read for a class, take a quiz, study for a test, or complete some online homework. And that's just for school. I have to fit in everything else to be able to function.
I have gotten behind so quick that I did not realize that it had happened. This weekend will be solely dedicated to me catching up. Yeah, that's right. No social life for a weekend.
Also on top of that, I am currently looking at apartments for next semester! I am so excited to move off campus. I feel like I am ready to make this move.
But for now, I need to get the little sleep that I will be getting tonight.
Goodnight blogger world.

simple twenty twelve

Its a brand new year. Time to make some resolutions for 2012.
I have been thinking the past week as to what my resolutions should be.
The past couple of years they have been the same ole' general resolutions. Ones that I knew that would be hard for me to obtain. This year I have decided to do some that would be obtainable and something that I would enjoy doing.
So since its 2012, I think that I should do 12 new years resolutions, and 3 monthly goals. This will help me to stay focused and who doesn't like having goals and succeeding in them. My inspiration for this came from raleighperk

My New Year's Resolutions
1. Read the bible daily.
2. Start eating more fruit.
3. Read 6 books.
4. Start an exercise program and stick with it.
5. Find better study habits.
6. Drink more water.
7. Write everyday in my journal.
8. Wake up two hours earlier instead of 30 minutes before class.
9. Start a C4 Sundays series on blogger.
10. Show my family and friends how much I love them and appreciate them.
11. Get at least 8 hours of sleep, instead of 4.
12. Find better foods to eat in the dorm.

January Monthly Goals
1. Finish my "Heaven is For Real" book, so I can start on another.
2. Blog at least once to twice a week.
3. Go to the library and do homework for at least 3 hours, with no distractions.

Bring it on 2012.
